Are you facing burnout in your work, your relationships, your life? Do intentions for self-care fly out the window at the slightest obstacle, no matter how often you commit to them?

What if we don’t get better by “working harder” on ourselves and our issues, but by joining with others?

Radical Therapy is an intersectional approach to making life changes that begins with these basic beliefs:

  • People are good (that includes you!)

  • Inequity and oppression are real

  • We all have the power to make changes that promote well-being in ourselves and our communities

Join us for an interactive introduction to this grassroots practice, born from the social justice movements of the 1960s, that offers practical tools for self-reflection and for shifting the conditions that keep us in pain and conflict. Participants are encouraged to bring real-life problems to the session, to experience problem-solving groups in action.

A multi-generational team of practitioners will invite participants into a cooperative contract that creates a safe space for sharing. Smaller break-out groups available as needed.

This practice is centered on healing through action, community, and equitable power-sharing. The intersection between the politics of the world and our personal experiences will be interwoven throughout the class. Together we can expand our visions of what is possible, fight oppression, and challenge the status quo.

The class is two-hours long, by Zoom, with the number of participants in each session limited to maximize interaction and learning. Sliding scale donation $25–$75, but no one turned away for lack of funds.
